Three Portland Doctors Launch Nourishing Life Collective, Bringing True Team-Based Whole Health Care to East Portland.

New collective model has naturopathic, acupuncture, East Asian, chiropractic, physical therapy, and nutrition providers actively collaborating on shared patient care plans — a rarity among independent Portland clinics.

PORTLAND, Ore. — July 7, 2026 — Nourishing Life Collective (NLC), a new whole health clinic & community hub located in the Bindery Building at 3115 NE Sandy Blvd, has officially opened its doors in the heart of East Portland. Founded by three experienced women physicians — Dr. Tara Radsliff, L.Ac., DSOM; Dr. Hayley Jensen, ND, L.Ac.; and Dr. Valentina Benitez, ND — NLC was built around a simple but uncommon idea: that better outcomes result when providers confer with one another to bring different perspectives on patient care.

NLC brings together licensed, board-certified practitioners across naturopathic medicine, acupuncture and East Asian medicine, chiropractic care, physical therapy, and nutrition, under one roof. What sets the Collective apart isn’t just the range of services, it’s how those services are delivered. Rather than operating as separate providers who merely share a medical office, NLC’s providers collaborate directly on individual patient care plans, offering multiple therapeutic perspectives when needed to address patient health goals.

“True integrative care requires more than providers working under one roof, it requires them working together,” said Dr. Hayley Jensen, co-owner and founding partner. “We built Nourishing Life Collective around collaboration from day one, with our various providers consulting on patient cases when needed, not just their own piece of it. We believe that is the difference in delivering true whole health care.”

“Often times, ‘integrative’ clinics will have providers of different specialties as the main form of collaboration can be sharing a waiting room, staff, or front desk services.”

The Whole Health approach, a framework popularized by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, treats each patient as a whole person rather than a collection of symptoms, prioritizing the patient’s own goals and values over clinical expertise. NLC has adopted this framing deliberately, positioning itself as a resource for East Portland residents seeking coordinated, personalized care rather than a group of single-modality providers in an already crowded field.

Beyond clinical services, NLC intends to operate as a community hub. The clinic will host regular classes, lectures, and events open to the public, covering topics in nutrition, movement, and preventive health, reflecting the founders’ beliefs that community education is as much a part of whole health as one-on-one treatment.

“Often time, ‘integrative’ clinics will have providers of different specialties a the main form of collaboration can be sharing a waiting room, staff, or front desk services.”

“We didn't want to just open a clinic, we wanted to create a space that people feel is theirs,” said Dr. Tara Radsliff. “Our classes and events are how we build that relationship before someone ever walks in seeking care.”

“We want to make a difference in our community and in our profession,” said Dr. Valentina Benitez, “We are redefining health as a life well lived.”

NLC is accepting new patients at its East Portland clinic. More information, including provider bios and upcoming event listings, is available at www.nourishinglifecollective.com.
